As a Field Clinical Specialist, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic role that offers valuable exchanges with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. At the same time, you will learn about our innovative products and how they can save the lives of thousands.
Tricuspid regurgitation (TR) remains an under-treated condition, and few professionals specialize in this therapy. Providing an effective treatment option for these patients is essential to improving their quality of life.
P&F is increasingly establishing itself in the field of transcatheter heart valve treatment, with presence in over 68 countries and more than 3,000 implants performed using the TRICVALVE platform. Our goal is to enable each location to achieve self-sufficiency in procedures, product preparation, and support. As a field clinical specialist, you will guide healthcare teams in device usage, helping them to gain specialized proficiency and achieve positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work independently in valve preparation for delivery to the implanting physician, manage cases, conduct pre-procedural planning, perform technical case analysis using image specific software, and participate in clinical education programs.
• Update training with distributors and certify physicians according to best implantation practices.
• Plan and implement growth strategies within targeted accounts, in collaboration with the Sales Management team.
• Develop clinical advocates among current and potential customers to promote P&F products.
• Collaborate with physicians, providing training and educational materials during sessions to drive the use of P&F’s product portfolio.
• Manage the complaint handling process as necessary, providing detailed field feedback.
• Primarily support cases within Brazil, with the possibility of attending cases across LATAM; availability to travel up to 60% of the time.
• Collaborate with management to drive therapy growth through awareness programs.
• Assist in developing procedures for other product lines.
Requisitos
Position Requirements:
• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Life Sciences or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in the sterile environment of a catheterization lab or operating room; direct clinical experience in interventional cardiology may substitute for some corporate experience.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in education and training in a clinical setting.
• Specific clinical skills in cardiac surgery or interventional cardiology are strongly preferred.
• Advanced qualifications in the medical field and/or proficiency in imaging (e.g., Echo, CT, or MRI) are highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various audiences, including cardiologists, support teams, and sales personnel, to build effective relationships with external clients and internal team members.
• Ethical, committed, and communicative work ethic.
