Descrição e Responsabilidades

Activities description:

  • Follow the class plans so that they fulfill the individual needs of the students and the level goals.
  • Apply a variety of teaching methodologies, including interactive activities, speaking practices, and audiovisual materials.
  • Evaluate the students’ development through tests, projects and classroom observation, providing constructive feedback.
  • Plan and apply extra activities, as conversation club, theme classes and cultural events to promote the language practice.
  • Keep record of the students’ development and fill in reports of their assessment.
  • Take part in parents’ meetings.
  • Be update about new methodologies and resources regarding teaching ESL.
  • Offer additional support to students who may need help with extra materials or support classes.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to contribute actively.


Requisitos

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English.
  • English proficiency certification is desirable (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge, etc.)
  • Ability to prepare and teach dynamic and interactive classes.
  • Excellent Oral and Written communication.
  • Ability to evaluate students’ progress and give them constructive feedback.


Differentials:

  • Post-graduation or specialization in Teaching Foreign Languages.
  • Experience in teaching English online or in digital platforms.
  • Living abroad in countries where English is spoken.
  • Knowledge in educational Technologies and tools for teaching online.
  • Ability to work with students with a range of different ages and levels of proficiency.
  • Take part in self-developing courses regarding teaching ESL.
